Impressions

This series comes to life through a retrospective journey, a virtual and sensory exploration through time and memory. Each work becomes a gateway to a fluid and dynamic space where experiences, situations, encounters, and memories intertwine in an emotional flow. Much like a narrative, it does not follow a logical order but unfolds according to intuition and instinct.

Painting thus seeks to become a visual language capable of capturing and evoking sensations and emotions. The expressive power of marks and colors is used to trace impressions—those fleeting perceptions that, as in a Proustian stream of consciousness, emerge without warning, yet are capable of awakening buried memories and feelings. It is not a linear narrative, but a sequence of thoughts and images that appear, overlap, and fade, awakening the entire sensory memory.

In this way, each painting becomes the trace of an emotional vision that does not merely represent an object or a scene, but seeks to evoke and allow us to feel the intensity of what was and what continues to be, in both mind and heart.
