Biography

Born in Paris in 1980 and raised in a rich multicultural environment—my father is Italian, and my mother is Malagasy, French, and Indian, I have traveled extensively and lived in different countries such as Italy, Madagascar, Switzerland, and France. Each one of these places has left a profound mark on me. Embracing this diverse and vibrant background has fuelled my artistic journey, as I explore human relationships, collective identities, and shared emotions. My aim is to capture the essence of experiences, rather than a raw, direct interpretation of reality. I like to invite reflection and immersion in a symbolic emotional universe that emphasizes a deep appreciation for others, not only in terms of cultural diversity but also in the broader human experience.
Before embracing painting, my creative outlets were photography, drawing, and writing. Ultimately, it was through my exploration of color that I found my true artistic voice, becoming the vessel through which I connect to the world around me.
I currently live and work in Rome, nestled in the lively Pigneto neighborhood. Here I share an atelier called OTTOSETTE with other women artists, fostering a warm and creative community that celebrates women’s unique energy and empowerment.
Through my art, I explore and aim to portray the complexity of identity, connections, and emotions. I want my work to invite audiences to reflect on what it means to be part of this world. You are invited to delve into the intimacy of human experience and to appreciate the beauty found in otherness.
